Hi, my hands felt better from the tendonitis, so I thought I'd try recording a bit with my Roland Micro Cube. I'm quite satisfied myself with how it worked out, 'tone'-wise, but some feedback by other sets of ears would be very appreciated.

Yamaha sa-1200s-->Micro Cube (black panel)-->Mbox-->Pro Tools LE (where reverb was added.

That Microcube really delivers some warm fat tone. I like your approach as well...very Benson. One of my favorite Miles tunes of all time. Great playing! :dude

Very nice. It's really good to hear that your hands are coming around again. The dynamics were especially nice. The attack was very clean and the groove was strong. Great job.

Thanks for the nice comments, fellas! What I'm struggling with though, is to have it distort nicely in the low end, as I don't want it completely clean. I've tried both Amplitube and the Microcube, and none of those modellers does that very good. Still a nice, cheap and quick way to record without mic'ing a tube amp, though. :)
