So what happens when you run the Fulldrive 2 on 18v?

    It gets clearer, more open and has a lil more high end....

    Better for a clean amp, but I think 9v might be a bit better for pushing the amp, as it compresses bit more...sounds a lil cooler

    thru my Mesa 5:50 there's not a big difference. Wouldn't say 18v sounds better, just a little different. Worth a try - see if you like it.

    I run Comp-Cut on 9V, and Vintage/FM on 18V.

    To me 18 volts should be standard on the FDII, it really changed it for me, I loved the pedal at 9 volts, but at 18 volts it's better, almost enough to get a tattoo of one on me arm.

    Also add that it gets less fizzy sounding....!
