I've just bought a ZT 0770 CF, and a ZT 0562 CF...
I'm on a roll! What's good?
ZT are excellent. I'd have to say my favorite knife is my Spyderco Endura (technically not a flipper). I've cleaned lots of game with it and use it every day at work
I carry a Kershaw Leek
Spyderco Paramilitary 2
Yep kershaw leek. Love the straight easy to sharpen blade.
And gerbers applegate fairbairn copy. I have both the small and big version. Get the more expensive one with the side lock though.
I usually carry a Kershaw Compound (I also have a Leek, Chive, and others):
Spyderco Endura stainless w/ wave mod.
Shivworks Clinch Pick
I have a ZT560 (flipper mechanism) with milled titanium and FDE G-10 slabs and incredible Elmax steel on my belt right now.
I don't leave home without it. In fact, it never leaves my hip. Except when I'm asleep...
It is perhaps the most excellent mid-tech tactical knife I've ever owned.
I have a Spyderco Delica and Endura, because I accidentally ordered the Endura. It's too long of a blade for legal EDC.
I have two, identical, Kershaw flippers. Cheap, easy to sharpen, and practical.
My EDC is a Kershaw Scallion, but I've also got and like the Leek (Messenger Bag) & Blur (Glove Box).
I prefer the Jethro B. Walrustitty Fluke Flippin Filet -n- Philatelists Fine Flange Filcher.
Say Karlos, please refer to them as automatic knives. That's what they are called today. Sounds less threatening. I know, I know it's politically correct. But it's the only political correctitude I subscribe to...
What does the term "Flipper" mean? Assisted open?
kind of a bear to carry but flips and prepares me for battle against warlocks *completelykidding
This. Being a lefty I like flippers since alot of knives aren't ambidextrous and the clip gets in the way of the thumb stud.
I've had mine since visiting the PI in 1992.
I bought a case of CRKT G-10 grip M-21 Carsons. gave them to my workers and son in laws and friends, my EDC for several years now. one hand opens really fast, positive blade lock is a nice feature
