Been a while since I've posted due to some tendonitis which is still there but finally getting to the point where it's not too painful.
Lately I've been inspired by the many really, really good players posting their jazz stuff here.
Got to jam with some friends recently and this was one of the tunes we did. I had never played it before that time but had so much fun I had to do it again.

Well done fella. Go easy on those tendons my man.
Warm up, warm down, careful with the bursts of notes.
Nice relaxed vibe on the tune, JP.

    Wow .... Sweetness!!

Just got in from surfing Maili Pt. and I find this little gem!

Castor oil...rub it on 2-3 times a day...and when you're feeling better look into the hand and wrist exercises and self massages....as well as the knuckle push-ups which work just fine from a knee bent position.

Thanks Jostein! Looking forward to your version of Impressions.
Thanks Bandi! I always enjoy your posts.
Thank you Joseph! I guess I tend to lean a little more in the trad jazz direction when it comes to tone. Now if I could only play it worth a....:D

    Hi,

Everytime I hear someone playing with your flow and tonal vocabulary, I ask myself why I don't stop wasting time doing all the stuff I do and just get down to learning how to play jazz.

That's was both enjoyable and inspiring. Thank you!

    Cheers,

I don't consider myself a very good jazz player especially compared to a lot of the guys here. I think that's primarily due to the fact that I like so many styles of music that I never focused on one type to get really good at it.
Mats, your tone on Surface Cruisin' is what I would love to be able to get some day.
You're playing is tasteful and melodic. On Halfway There at about 2:07 you kick it up and just sing. Really nice playing, so I have to say I'm blown away by your very kind words.
Thank you and play on brother!:beer

Sounds very good. You got a good language down.
An advise to save your hands, if I may ?
No need suddenly playing faster when going to Ebm. The rhythms going on in Dm
sounds very satisfying and could go on forever. Try it through 2 choruses if you agree.
    My best Uffe

Yeah, I was just trying to mix things up a bit and not get too repetitious.
I understand what you are saying though.
Thanks Uffe for listening and for the advice!

Every once in a while I like to dig back through the pages from the past here and find things that I had forgotten about but still enjoy listening to by the many great players here.
All the nice comments here are greatly appreciated. Just thought I'd throw this back up here in case anybody missed it the first time around. Thanks for putting up with me you guys!
