Almost ready to jump on either this one, or the Demeter Tremulator, for an as close to tube driven amp tremolo as possible (in the vein of the brown Fenders).

Anyone got a chance to play the Mellow Yellow already?

Thanks, Eskimo Joe, forgot about the bjf forum. Could I also get you to elaborate on how you like yours, that is, if you haven't already posted on the bjf-forum?

    Cheers,

EDIT: just read your review of the MYT on the bjf forum. Excellent, thanks!

Just to throw you off on your hunt...

Area 51 stopped production on their tube tremolo amp kit. Why? Because they have improved on it AND are putting it into a pedal. Yep, I'm very excited and am "on the list" so to say.

I've had one for about six months and have no desire to try another trem pedal. I have a brown deluxe and it sounds in the same ballpark - not better not worse, slighly different. I had a BJF Yellow Saffron Trem that I sold for big bucks and bought this one. I am totally happy with it.

I had a MYT for a while and it does sound truly fantastic, just like a BJ's stuff. However, I just couldn't justify having the much money invested in a trem, especially when I play through amps that have trem built in. If money is no object though, I would take the MYT over the demeter, mainly because of the volume knob.

P.S. For a while I was using a Voodoo Lab Trem, but I wasn't totally happy with it, so I just order a Sugar Baby (which also has no volume knob).

Tried one.....but it isn't my tremsound.....It doesn't go deep enough.
Is sounded almost as a modulated vibrato.

    I settled on a Fulltone Supa-trem.
