Here's a pretty little song that I just found by the Raconteurs:
Great song, really love both Raconteurs' albums, really looking forward to Jack's new album.
New White .
What amps did Jack use on SNL?
I couldn't tell and was looking. A set of three matching heads and cabs. Metal mesh surrounding the heads. No logo, markings that I saw.
I've been trying to figure it out. I noticed he was using a copper version in the recent Raconteurs shows. Something custom. How 'bout that tasty new Gretsch he was rocking? Loved that color on a Duo Jet.
Yes, cool guitar. The headstock looked more like a Dano than a Gretsch, which was odd.
I wonder if the amps are rehoused silvertone chassis?
Very old Gibson on this one .
The other one .
What did you guys think about the SNL performance? I only saw the first song and was totally impressed. Sounded great.
I liked both songs and thought the difference between the two showcased JW's versatile talent
Never seen a woman play a pedal steel before. Cool band!
Did he ever use the tele with the bigsby or what that just his backup for the show?
Was that Meg playing drums?
Two different bands for each song, the first all women, the second all men. That pose and bow with the guitar at the end was hilarious and awesome.
Love both songs, especially Love Interruption. Can't wait for album+tour!
That killed. Loved it.
What's the effect during the hook in the second song?
Sounded like some kind of filter. I know the EH Baseballs can do that...
That's the effect. He had one on his Raconteurs board, so I suspect it made it's way onto this one.
