    AMAZING Flamed maple Heritage 535 custom ordered in '99!
    Only 12 of these "Wolfe 35 Specials" were ever made.
    This is the only one in this "Vintage Sunburst" custom finish.

    All photos taken using natural light. No flash-enhanced flame here!

    Back on the market... I pulled this from sale trying to hang on to it.
    Thought I'd have a new job by now and could keep this beauty.
    Slow job market is forcing me to sell this one. :(

    Wolfe Guitars is the #1 Heritage Dealer in the U.S., and in 1999 the owner Jay Wolfe had Heritage make a special run of a dozen 535's in various finishes. He kept one for himself and sold the other 11. "Wolfe 35 Special" Documentation includes the factory card and the sticker inside the guitar. (see pictures...)

    Each Wolfe 35 Special came with the following upgrades as standard features. Note that these upgrades would each cost an additional $100-$200 extra on a special order so the upgrades alone on this guitar would have cost $600-$800:
    * Seymour Duncan Antiquity pickups
    * Tonepros locking bridge & tailpiece
    * Schecter 12:1 tuners with pearloid buttons
    * Headstock binding
    * Finish to be from among Heritage's Premium finishes
    NOTE: The pickguard is bound ebony.
    It is shaped like a Gibson 335 guard, not the pointy curvy thing Heritage usually has on their 535's. I don't know if this was a custom upgrade or if that was a standard guard in '99.

    This guitar weighs 7lbs 11oz
    . and is the only "Wolfe 35 Special" finished in "Vintage Sunburst" - a color that Jay says is designed to replicate a vintage Les Paul Burst. Other than a very small finish chip on the backside corner of the Low E side of the headstock this guitar looks untouched - near pristine condition.

    It plays & sounds amazing. Blows away every Gibson Custom Shop '59 Reissue I have ever owned/played - and it weighs a full pound less. (Costs $1000 less too!) This guitar pulls new riffs out of my hands and is an inspiration to play. I love it and would keep it if I could.

    Neck carve is a nice medium "C" measuring .81" at the nut and .95" at the 12th fret.

    Original hard shell case included is in excellent condition.
    FROM A SMOKE-FREE/PET-FREE HOME! No funky smells or animal hair.
    ***SOLD!!!***
    Priced to move @ $1825 shipped/pp'd...
    No trade offers, please. Cash sale only.

    o probl
    Shipping to Canada is fine as long as you cover the extra shipping cost...
    If you pay using CN dollars you will also need to cover the extra 3% fee that PayPal will withhold for their PayPal Currency Conversion fee.

    Fret photos have been sent - please let me know if you need anything else. Thx!

    For anyone else wondering about the frets here are some photos for you also...
    As described - this guitar looks like it has barely been played and is in near pristine condition!

    Grooves in the nut have graphite in them - not dirt!
