Soldano SLO and Kramer with Screamin' Demon pup clip Seriously 80's
This is SERIOUSLY 80's....lol
I am wondering what you guys think of the sound. I recorded everything in mono. I did double the left and right rhythm tracks, but played them seperately in mono. Solo is mono also right down the middle.
How do you guys think it sounds recorded this way? And what do you think of the tone of the track?

All opinions greatly appreciated!

Seriously 80's

Here is another very short clip using the same gear but recorded in Stereo. I can't figure which way sounds best on my own... Please help!

No more stuck in the '80s than 90% of the players on this forum. I prefer the '90s, but the '90s was about vocals, not guitar. :D

can't decide which one I prefer, but the 3rd one definitively jumped right off my headphones directly into my eardrums:D

Thanks much man. Had a little delay and verb on all the lead tracks. More so on the 2nd track than any of them though.

Thanks much Jimmy! I really love the SLO. But between it and the Cornford 50 I had and the SLO it is pretty much a toss up.
I guess a little of my Lynch influence came out huh?;)

Thanks much! I mic'ed it a bit brighter on that last clip cause the drum loop was recorded brighter. I think that lowering the gain and brightening up the amps sound really makes it jump out more!
