    Hi,

Here are some very nice guitars I saw at Winter NAMM 2020.

Bill Asher's new Studio Series gave me serious GAS. Boutique quality without the boutique price tag.

A Collings rock and blues machine.

    A DMC Delorean.

Huss & Dalton, known for their high end acoustic guitars, showed a solid electric.

You could find very many mouth watering creations in the Boutique Guitar Showcase and this Leo Guitar was one of them.

A great Strat style guitar with avery coll pickup configuration. Playability and sound to strive for!

Glad you enjoyed it. I was hoping to bring a better camera this year but economy prevents it.

Mats, Thank you again for another year. The best written report on Namm. Others shoot a lot of pics but rarely take the time to describe the pictures. Others just focus on the big names. Yours is always diverse and informative.

That H&D looks great. I think of solid body makers and acoustic makers as very different, but hmmm they might be onto something. Then again, I guess Gibson has done well across both books of business.

    Hey Rob,
Your words warm my writer's heart. Many companies give me the cold shoulder when they hear I don't do video and some demand I publish the same day on FB or Instagram so when they do I don't include them. But I still believe in the written word and I take hope from your words.

    Cheers,

    Mats N

That DMC Delorean was a lot of fun to see up close (and it does work). Personally I could have spent every single day in the Boutique Guitar section and been totally satisfied, not just because of the all the beautiful, unique and wonderfully crafted guitars (and amps) on display, but being able be to talk with the builders was worth the trip IMO. Every single one of them was just down to earth and so enthused to talk about their creations. And you were right about the BOSS SY-1000 demo. The guys name who staffed the Boss Booth is Austin Sandick and his demo was very, very entertaining.

Well done on the Blog OP. And if you guys haven't seen it, our very own TGP Tech Guru Alec Lee did a really nice job on The Gear Page Blog covering Winter NAMM 2020 too (http://blog.thegearpage.net/?p=4520).
