    In my experience, NOS 7189s are a good investment. I like RCAs.
    They'll take 400v on the plates, as opposed to the 300v or so of the regular EL84.

    If folks want to address anything specific they can copy from the post and dialogue. There are links there and a datasheet that would not port quickly and I am pressed for time with the holidays and other activities.
