Love the new sound. Making jazz sound groovin' & modern at the same time. Kinda wanted to hear some pinch harmonics, pick scrapes, and dive bombs (j/k):p

In all seriousness - you guys are bringin' it - and Mike you're always playing at the top of your game - very cool rhythmic/melodic motives. I wanna play like that when I grow up !

    Thanks fellas.

Injury wise..... GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! Composing for a piece I wrote for Orchestra. I was doing it on Sibelius. Writing all the string parts. It was going a little too well. Didn't break for a couple days except to sleep. Then bam!!! Arm gave in. Got physio etc etc.
A good ol' boy from hereabouts gave me some tips : ) I can play now everyday but not to tempo. That'll come.

Worse still is this..... I'm such a dope...... I lost the file With the strings on that caused the heartache in the first place!!!!!

So the last 8 months I have been learning Italian. No playing or writing.

We have it to do, fellas. Mx

    Smokin!!

Is the file still on the machine somewhere? I have a program 'Search Everything' which finds stuff (some I thought was well hidden!).

Holy Jesus great stuff needless to say, amazing...

i have a question though for jazz guitar guys, why do they usually hang on one pickup and not vary things tonally some more? Maybe a bit of twangy jazz or something.... use some of the knobs and switches?

Anyway, superb outfit you are playing with congratulations, it must be alot of fun to work with such a high level of talent to match your own, way beyond my ability...

    cheers and thank you

Hey thanks Chuck. Shaping up slowly. Don't rush the healing process coz it will take you for a sucker for sure!!
Just when ya thought it was safe to go back in the water, and all that!!

    Cheers Barney!

    Thanks Joe.

Thanks Gary. Just hoping this sucker holds out through the tour.
If it does, i know all is cool, and I can start composing again.

    Cheers, pinner.

Thanks, Dave. Let me know if ya get a blow on that amp.

New CD is a little more Jazz than Madhouse. Tho each track has a different colour and I don't compose all the toons on this one (just 4 of 'em).

    Appreciate it Carl. Thanks, man.

Cheers Bam. And thanks for....... ya know.

Tried all that amigo. Did the Time machine thing. Not a trace.

I was recently referred to as 'Delightfully Floaty'. That's dope in my book.

Thanks, fella. Hope ya well, man.

Good question. Funnily enough this was the only time I used this sound on that gig. I wanted it to be direct. More about the piece as a whole.
Each piece has it's own sound colour and i try to stay focussed within the confines of that colour. I like the intensity of that.

    Thanks mate.
