Some purdy cool improv (excerpt from a new song)

    This is kinda cool... sorta got a Motown thing goin' on. After the lead-in that is. The song isn't finished yet due to the following: The song starts out in a straight forward 4/4... and transitions to swing via the break before the improv'd solo in this except... the transition is smooth and works well... but it aint proving so easy to find my way back to the initial idea. My initial idea is workable... just struggling with it a bit. Time to shelf it for a while.

    Anyways... would love to hear what you all think of the section I'm throwin' at ya here... thanks in advance!

    liked the groove, reminds me of steve delach a bit.
    The guitar part a tad hotter in the mix would be good...

    I love this clip- I think it might be my favorite of yours, and I really enjoyed the other ones as well. The beginning is just really fun, and the playing was amazing. Cool stuff.

    Sorry about the belated reply... I have been sicker than a dog for going on 3 yrs now and finally found out what is wrong!! Surgery (sp?) forth-coming SOON!!! I almost can't remember what it feels like to not be sick... thank God for small miracles!
