For a rock/blues/R&B cover band. Obviously there's plenty of Stones songs that are in open G, but I wondered what other stuff there was besides. Thanks!

Pink Floyd "Fearless" although it's not a great cover song.

Led Zep "Dancing Days" and "In My Time of Dying" (And maybe Traveling Riverside Blues)

    Some of my favorites:

Help me through the Night (Walsh)
    South City midnight Lady
    Romeo and Juliet

    Lots of slide songs

    e.g. Move it on Over

Really? I'm not doubting you, but I've always played that song in standard tuning and hybrid picking - both the riff in G as well as the vamp chords during the solo...I'd never thought of playing it in open G.

One more: George Thorogood and the Destroyers "Bad to the Bone"

A couple of Bad Company tunes are in open G, can't think of the titles at the moment.

Is it? I had to learn it awhile ago for a bar band and the version I learned was in open E.

Watch Over You - Alter Bridge. More of an acoustic song, but one of my favorite songs.

Actually, an open E chord, I thought.

But how about Can't Get Enough, Bad Company...I think that's open G.
