Songs You Wish Had Never Been Recorded

There are so many, but here are a few that I unfortunately remember quite well:

Love Will Keep Us Together – The Captain and Tenille
Lady Marmalade – Labelle
Island Girl – Elton John
Shake Your Booty – K.C. and the Sunshine Band
Crazy On You – Heart
Lowdown – Boz Scaggs
New York To L.A. – Patsy Gallant
Undercover Angel – Alan O’Day
How Much Love – Leo Sayer
Brick House – Commodores
Peg – Steely Dan
Emotion – Samantha Sang
Dance, Dance, Dance – Chic
Night Fever – Bee Gees
Movin’ Out – Billy Joel
You’re The One That I Want – John Travolta and Olivia Newton John
I Will Survive – Gloria Gaynor
Whenever I Call You A Friend – Kenny Loggins and Stevie Nicks
When You’re In Love With A Beautiful Woman – Dr. Hook
My Sharona – The Knack
No More Tears – Donna Summer and Barbra Streisand
Born To Be Alive – Patrick Hernandez
Physical – Olivia Newton John
I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll – Joan Jett
You Can’t Hurry Love – Phil Collins
Uptown Girl – Billy Joel
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun – Cyndi Lauper
Karma Chameleon – Culture Club
Method Of Modern Love – Hall and Oates
Walk Like An Egyptian – Bangles
Mambo No. 5 – Lou Bega
You Oughta Know – Alanis Morrisette

ALL Steely Dan, ALL 80s hair metal, ALL Ted Nugent, ALL Guns and Roses, any 80s act that thought they were 'texas blues,' ZZ Slop, ALL 'rockabilly' after 1975, ALL Rush, etc etc etc...I have no use for that nonsense and if it makes you 'angry', that's on you.

Every Nickelback song.
Buddy of mine was a big Clutch fan since the 90's before they were widely popular. I had never heard of them before. He talked me and another friend into going to see them. We went up to South Carolina where they were opening for Nickelback who was the headliner. Everyone loved Clutch. When Nickelback took the stage, everyone threw beer on them until they left and refused to play the show. :bonk

Pride and Joy
Sweet Home Chicago
Red House
Messin' With the Kid

Do you realize how many bad blues bands were spawned because of these songs?

How many 40 year old middle managers decided to become bluesmen because of these songs?
