No complaints here. Wondered what Billy Sheehan was up to these days.

Had not been aware of this. Am I to assume that the Sheehan/Portnoy rhythm section plays things pretty straight? 4/4, thump the root kind of stuff?

    Ridiculously good!

Who writing the lyrics? Kinda cringeworthy.

    I’m coming home.

I posted this in another thread but this is one of my favorite solos ever. Ron Thal is just an insanely talented dude!

Glad I got to see them a year or so ago, they were great live and I still dig their debut album. New tune is one.

Ron Thal is amazing BUT I am just not that big of fan of the fretless guitar sound. Too much pitchy wiggle in it, if that makes sense.

Funny - I love the Ron's fretless work. So different from all else.

Gotta agree. His fret less work is incredible. Not in the slightest bit “pitchy”. He’s dead on it.

Just recently hearing about these guys, they're killer and I really dig the tunes I've heard. That live show of them is fantastic, and I really like Thal's fretless stuff. Super cool how he and Sheehan have the doublenecks.

Been checking out Sons of Apollo this year. Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal is an absolute monster! Not to mention Billy Sheehan’s chops. Dang.

I think Portnoy could be the basis for a great drinking game. Every time you hear of another band he's in....take a shot.

    That was killer!

I haven't heard of this band until now, so thanks to mikeratan00 for starting the thread.
