It amps up the old fashioned hand held laser trick-

Just don't let them get to close to your guitars and amps display.

For those too lazy to just point the laser themselves.

Or, you'd have two lasers to get that action. :aok

Part of the enjoyment of the red dot is giving it some kind of intelligence -- making it run around corners, hide under a chair, climb up a wall, etc.

Plus, I feel compelled to the let the cat "catch" the red dot every once in awhile, just out of fairness.

    Business cat agrees:

Mine always look so disappointed when they finally catch it.

"Huh? Is that all there is"

Yeah no kidding. The lasers are fun, but a long piece of string can be just as much fun.

When we were boys, Sonny, all we had were dried pieces of pig intestine, and that cost a weeks' allowance. String? You couldn't get that for a whole nickel.

Don't forget the peppermint schnapps! Just refill the bottle with water so she doesn't notice it's missing.:banana

We've had one of those for our cats for a few years now. It's more fun doing it yourself.

A friend has two cats. The female cat is wise to the dot and doesn't chase it. The younger male kitty is a total sucker for the red dot.
