Sorry if I am missing something....been a long day. I was trying to upload an image from my PC (via a reply on an existing thread) and cannot figure out a way to do it. I just want to attach an image from my computer in a reply to a post on this forum. Again...long day and not thinking clearly. Any help appreciated. Cheers.

It needs to be hosted by a third party site and then you supply the link to it (Imgr, etc.)

No it doesn't. Click "Media" at the top. Then "Add Media."

Supporting members can upload media directly from their computer to the forum. To do so, you must click “Media” in the blue bar on top and then “Add Media” (to the right). Photos need to be screen resolution, 72 dpi. Higher resolution photos seem to cause issues with the software. Name the album you are creating (this only need be done once) and then add media. Now when you are in the post entry box, you can click on the “camera” icon and drop your images inline with your posts.

Alternatively, you can link to remotely hosted pictures. We recommend a free picture hosting service such as www.imgur.com It is free, fast and easy. You upload your photos there, copy the (UBB or Forum they call it) [IMG]

How do you embed video clips? Also need to be a supporting member?

Upload video to hosting site, post the link and it should embed automatically for most sites. You do not need to be a supporting member to do so.
