Set as close in sound as I could get them, more or less clean boost, Danocaster T neck pickup into a Marsh BFPR clone.

The playing is a big yawn as per usual. I'll post a pic of the settings if anyone finds the clip interesting enough.

Also, where these things really differ is at the top of the gain setting. I'll make a clip of that and post within a day or so.

I'd be interested to see the settings. I have a Soul Food, and was on the K2 waitlist and decided to hold off for now, til I gigged some more with the SF driving other pedals. Sounded like the K2 had a bit more hair, or a softer attack, relative to the SF - if that is as close as you could get them. You probably could have dialed in a bit more SF grit, but wonder if you prioritized "similar overall eq curve" over level of breakup.

Yep, I was trying to get their overall EQ as close a possible. What's really interesting is how different they all are at the top of their gain setting.

The K2 is definitely the most Klon-like at the top of the OD (I've owned 5 of them, and for a few years regularly played or heard the original "Loan Ranger" that Bill F sent out for the initial reviews) but then I've never really heard the JR described as a Klon.
