I understand what you are saying and agree. I just want to keep my always on signal path analog. BTW I don't make gear decisions (nor vote) based on what other artists do or use. I know it is a popular advertising tactic, but I don't buy into that kinda thing. Just because it is good enough for some other dude, it doesn't mean it will work for me. If you have killer gear (And you do btw) IMO you don't need a celebrity to sell it.

I appreciate you taking the time to answer our questions.

Understood. I don't usually mention this.
I only point this out now because the folks who are responsible for creating and maintaining these rigs have exacting standards, particularly for something that is always on. Also, there are no endorsement arrangements that might skew the selection.

Thank you! I am positive that I wouldn't be able to tell between the digital and analog sound. Like I said, just my particular fartsniffery.

I was wrong. Its 180. The display takes more juice than our other One Series pedals.

This was asked in the other SA270 EQ2 thread, but I will respond here.
Parametric means that the filters are cascaded.
Graphic means they are in parallel.
I think most folks here think that parametric is less bands and the frequency center point of the band is not fixed. This is not the case.
With the EQ2 you can do it all:
    1) Graphic or Parametric
    2) Adjust the centerpoint of each band
    3) Adjust the Q on each band

So, if you want a 3 band parametric EQ, you just set 7 bands to zero and only work with thee bands. Same with 5. 10 bands is the max.

Most of these things you can do on the pedal. The Mobile/Desktop will have a nice graphic interface to make things easy to see.

I also believe that its going to be possible on this pedal to have bi-directional communication with the mobile app via USB.

Yes, Jesse figured out a way to make this happen. iPhone will need a cable to go from the Lightning port to USB. Android needs USB C to the pedal's USB port.

This makes me think of a spectrum analyzer in the app. That would be impressive.

Will the iPad Pro with USB C connector run the app?

I have the original programmable EQ & love it. More presets & parametric capability will make me consider getting this one too. Damn you SA!

Yeah, that's a different thing than what this pedal is, and probably very few people would use it.

Btw, thanks for the explanation on graphic vs parametric eq. Very useful info!

Haven't had an EQ pedal for ... decades. (Blue MXR 6-band. Ha.)

But this new Source Audio EQ2 Programmable Equalizer has got me excited!

Will there be expression control of individual bands and/or multiple bands at once?
