Everything they make is a source of inspiration and pleasure for me, whether I own the pedals or not. It’s good the company is growing.

The reaction to the SM for the Atlas was kinda nonchalant, everyone seemed a bit nonplussed, the consensus was non-gaga. (... a few liked it, I think) But it’s one of my favourite pedals ever. It could be me. I can be simple. I’m nonetheless looking forward to what the SM’ers have to say about it.

Hell yes, Atlas is seriously underrated. Totally amazing pedal, incredibly well refined circuit

Zak and Crew are killing it. No drop-off imo.

The phaser and Atlas are ridiculously good.

Agreed. Admittedly, I was down on the Phaser when it came out as a Secret Mission, but when the official Explorer dropped, and I got one, I was floored. I sold my Wombtone MKII, and the other Phasers that I had floating around, and the Explorer is proudly on my board.

The Atlas was a really pleasant surprise, but I use the Voyager where I would use the Atlas just for the added functionality.

Even the Orion has been a pedal I wasn't really expecting much of but sure enough I use it on my board instead of my Big Sky.

Ya, me too. Love CBA and the Wombtone is cool but the Explorer suited my ear better. I was trying to keep both but ... well, you know.

I love the Mission Control even though I’m still sorting it out ... got some really exciting things out of it so far ... and when I first plugged in to the Polaris, I tried to set it with no gain and as close to unity both in terms of volume and tonal qualities (just an odd thing i try to do with a new overdrive) ... and it ended up doing something a lot like what the Atlas does. Can’t help but wonder if there’s a little Atlas in there. Whatever is going on, it’s a beautiful sound.

And then ... on top of that .. the gain and filters! :dude

    huh, wut?
did you somehow miss the Mission Control? clearly, that recent project is the most unique design he’s delivered to guitarists, to date.

I always whine when the pedal turns out to be a fuzz/distortion/boost.

Yet, I always get the giggles when a new Secret Mission is released!!
And yes, the Sputnik is getting as much love as always. Tried it with some Moog synth stuff. Results were epic :messedup

I haven’t kept up honestly. I used to see his name bought up everywhere, I just don’t see it as much anymore. Idk, it’s hard for me to get excited about fuzz/OD these days.

No way. I made up my mind that this would be a 60-90 day wait, and if it's only 30 then great. No teasers from the space station, no radio transmissions from distant galaxies, UFOs don't exist. The truth isn't out there.

Usually the SM versions of the pedals ship within 1-2 weeks. Or at least recently that’s been the case.

Original Secret Mission was an epic 5 months, but the end result was the Saturn V...so a long wait isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I don’t think they’ve ever sent shipping notices for the Secret Missions, the ones I’ve participated in have just shown up unannounced.

I actually think it's going to happen this year. But make sure you've got like $800+ ready for it! I'm pretty sure it's going to be highly compatible with Mission Control as well. So you might want to snag one while you can.
