... and maybe that's why it's one of the most awesome Spaceman demos I've ever seen! holy s-s-smoke that was great - can anyone say, sweet spot? told me all I hoped to know about it

And - breathtakingly beautiful guitar, man

    - but you cut it off too quickly! the envelope is interesting with your setup, would have liked to hear that note all the way through (but maybe there's a limit on Instagram? I dunno don't wanna know)

(... ah ... don't mean to cast any shade on High Pedality, always dig your demos but I'm saving its extensivity until later)

Thanks. I avoid doing demos at all costs because of a lack of talent. I'm sure this is the first thing I put on TGP. Thing is I was so surprised at how clean I could get things with the gain maxed that I had to share.

Not sure if anyone else is catching it, but the red ones seem to have an extra dose of rad in the sound.

I hope the mojo is not slowly leaking out of mine while I’m away!

Yeah, that was my experience too; GREAT cleanup! I'm really enjoying all the user/non-professional-review-input. We're getting out of our boxes and sharing and I think it's really fun. :) I also like hearing from the people who've had different experiences and am curious about their setups and styles because I think it's cool hearing about the reactivity of different instruments/amps/other effects and how that contributes to sound design.

So tempted, the Red version is the coolest looking of all of them. Not sure I could justify $600

There's another one on Reverb for $440.

I hope they bring out other cool finishes on the Gemini IV.
An Olive Drab one would be cool, for example.

Assuming this is heavily favoring the Si side? Ge doesn't seem to clean up. It just gets more starved.

Some very quick and sloppy noodling from a part of a song idea in progress done in one take, well one take per track, playing the Gemini into the Spectre and Tonal Recall. Amp is a Germino Classic 45 and I was playing a Les Paul. I love how the Gemini sounds into the Spectre. I foresee those two becomes a frequent tag team combo for me.

Strange isn’t it? Reverse of what one would expect.

Almost all the way on the Si side. I had a little Ge blended in.

Maybe this is a cosmic inside joke? Like from the outset, Spaceman was on a Secret Mission to bring travelers into the Mirror Dimension where silicon is the transistor of choice for cleanup at the volume knob. What have we learned about ourselves?

That is my experience too. You think it would work the other way around. Not complaining...was just a little confused by that.

I'm in Canada too, but in Quebec. I've been lucky lately, but I fear that I will surely get it hard by customs fees this time around :(

The through-the-looking-glass Ge><Si reversal seems to “mirror” the SM test pilots’ experiences, where they had the potential labels the other way around.

    Nice riffin’, @Gallery ! :beer

Yes, I believe so. GE gets really starved and sputters while the SI cleans up... this was one of the main reasons I thought the sides were reversed.

    39 Silver
    48 Black

I would have thought the Andy Reverb demo would have sparked at least a bit of a rush on these. Not to discredit the 500 he sold in just 3 days, but could the Spaceman phenomena be waning?

Selling 500 fuzz pedals at $300+ a piece in a week sounds like there is still a solid demand for the pedals. I rarely use fuzz and I paid $339 for a red one without even hearing it. That's crazy stuff.
