I'd like to see Zak build a compressor. I'd also like to see him do a few pedals with transformers.

Mine just arrived. Details in the spoilers.

It's a larger enclosure similar to the Nebula/Polaris. The knob configuration is very similar to the Nebula but instead of the left side toggle there's a smaller knob. There is no expression input so this does not play with the Mission Control. From about 20 minutes of playing with it, my best guess is that it is a dual channel Fuzz. The middle knob is oriented down and acts as a mix/blend between the left and right fuzz settings. The right channel reminds me a lot of the Nebula sound. The toggle is something I'm still scratching my head over. Originally I thought it was a low-pass filter type setting but it could be a parallel/series toggle between the dual fuzz sounds. The smaller knob on the left side is the universal gain/volume.

Also took a peek inside and there is a transformer (could be a Neve?) of some type similar to the Hudson Broadcast and the Bogner Wessex/Burnley distortion pedals.

Overall a solid fuzz box. Pictures can be added later if people are interested.

    I’m guessing it’s a GE/SI switch.

Hmm, perhaps a further exploration of the Gemini?

That’s amazing to hear. The Gemini is my favorite fuzz of all time, and I’ve been waiting for him to revisit it.

Well, it could be something completely new as well. The original Gemini didn’t have a Transformer in it.

But neither did the original Sputnik.

Gemini III has a transformer...but yeah, it could be unrelated.

Awesome! I see four of what I think are Ge transistors, two different kinds? and at least four Si. Very cool.

Now I’m really regretting I didn’t bite on this secret mission—these could be pretttty coveted. He hasn’t put out a Ge Fuzz in a while... since the Sputnik IIs, I guess.

If this is a new take on the Gemini it will be hard for me to resist.

Both look to make use of AC176 transistors (looks like a pair on the Gemini and a pair on the SM). Not sure what the top hat transistors are, but a pair on the SM and a top hat plus AC12? on the Gemini. Seems that at least the Ge side is related.

I just hope they make lots of the less well-dressed models.

Cool to hear that it has a transformer. I think if it was a Neve transformer it would be branded. The Bogner Wessex and Burnley are two of my favorite pedals.

Definitely looks like a take on the Gemini. It’s a great design, I hope this is an update.

    Thanks for the info!!!
