Speaker Break-In

Please excuse my basic question, but I just installed an Eminence GA10 SC64 speaker into my 65 Princeton Reverb because somebody put an Weber Alnico Blue in it and it was coloring the BFPR circuit way too much! It already sounds much much better... ahhhh.... better.... but my question is this...

What kind of changes occur (sound-wise) as a speaker breaks-in?

And... any do's or dont's to breaking-in a speaker??

The highs will get smoother and the overall tones will be more musical
