Well I ordered my kit today. I'll be assembling it when it gets here in a few weeks but want to get my cabinet build underway. I dont know for sure, but it seems like a 12" speaker is the only way to go with these... which kinda stinks because I have a Celestion gold and a greenback (both 10").

Anyway, I know there are the list of popular 12" speaker choices for the 50 and 100 watt models of this amp, but I can't find any information on what would be a good match for a 20w version. Any ideas?

Lunchbox head with a small 1x10 cab sounds like a good plan.
The Celestion Gold 10 is rated for 40W, has 98 db sensitivity, and has the right type of mid-range response for a D-style amp.

I'd go small. The 50W and 100W D-style usually use 1 EVM or 2 Celestion G12-65s. A lot of money/weight and then you'll usually have to run pretty quiet at most gigs anyway.

I had one, tried vintage 30' ev12l and ev sro
V30 sounds great
12l clean, sounds excellent with volume
Sro- sucked until you cranked the amp, then it sang!

Make no mistake , this can be a loud amp.
Enjoy

I'm using a Bad Cat Celestion I like. I think it's rated at 30 watts. My head us a little fickle but generally speaking I get good tones out of it. I think it's design is based on the vintage 30.
