Im having someone make me a clone of a 2x10 65 Tremolux piggy back amp. Ive always played 12" speakers and this is my first amp with 10's.

I play the blues thru a Firebird, and Im concerned that those Mini-Humbuckers might sound a little thin thru those 10" speakers. He suggested putting some CTS Alcino's from the 70s in there. I was wondering if anyone would have a suggestion as to what speaker wouldn't sound too thin with those Mini Hum's I have on the Firebird. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Bloozman

I have Jensen C10Q's in my cabs and I think they sound outstanding. And I do use a Firebird!

Just put 2 Eminence Ragin Cajuns in my '62 Tremolux cab. Really smooth speaker, good body, never harsh.

If you have 4 X 10" cabs made you won't have any problems with thinness at all. Trust me.

A pair of Weber 10F150's, 25 watts, light dope. And have him break them in for you.
Amp setting: volume 7, bass 7, treble 7.
