I am just wondering which speakers to get for my 2x12. It's a slanted vertical one and I want something that sounds good clean but also has a great heavy rock crunch.
The kind of stuff like post-rock and stoner rock.

    Cheers

Scholtz are great for both but pricey ($225), available thru Charles Bertonazzi... redhouseblues@hotmail.com I use them in a vertical 2x12 Swanson but also had them in a Mojo 2x12 Vertical slant. A cheaper speaker would be the Celestion g12t or g12k. I have the G12t and for the price they are good speakers for what your looking for.

The CL 80 is really a great speaker and will keep the celestion tone with more clean and crunch when you really push it. My partner (Bob) here at DST loves the speakers and uses them in a DST Plexi 100 watt and in his Mesa Boogie Heartbreaker.

    Good Speaker

Celestion G12K-100 has all that and a lot of bottom if that is a plus for your needs.

I use this combo myself. But you're going to get a million different answers on this. It's more about the amp your using than about vert vs. horizontal.
