All rules from our general rules apply in this section also. However, I am adding the following:

    1. This section is intended for fans of what are considered to be "vintage" instruments. If your tendency is to not appreciate same, please do not start trolling members who do appreciate these instruments. Your posts will be deleted and you may be suspended from using this particular topic area.

    2. TGP will not define what "vintage" actually means. We will leave it up to members to determine what a rational use of the term "vintage" might be. Based on a long thread that announced this section, many members have suggested considering the idea of using the "golden years" of any company as a guideline. For Fender and Gibson, for instance, this would mean a different set of years than would be the case for PRS or other manufacturers. Please use commonsense. If the guitar isn't at least 20 years old, consider posting about it in the regular Guitar topic area. This is just a guideline.

    3. Videos that we deem to be overtly commercial/marketing videos will not be allowed. However, we may choose to allow certain videos that have minimal marketing but are helpful to members in understanding an instrument in context. Obviously videos with no marketing message within are more than welcome!
