Spinning wireless transmitter

I have the XVIVE U2 wireless system, which consists of 2 dongles - one for transmit, and the other for receive. The transmitter has a tendency to spin in the guitar jack. I'd like to make it remain stationary against the bottom edge of the guitar. My first thought was 2 little velcro dots - one on the transmitter and one on the guitar. But I am concerned about the adhesive from the velcro damaging the finish of my guitars (some are nitro, some are poly, and one is a translucent matte finish).

Any other ideas on how to keep the dongle from spinning?

I think as long as you're not using the 3M super sticky version, you should be good to go. I'm doing the same on an Ibanez and a Music Man.

Thanks for the reply. I bit the bullet a couple of days ago, and did the dead to one of my guitars. I just decided "f it" - its my guitar anyway. Over time I will put it on most of the others too. probably not the vintage or Custom Shop ones though. I just can't emotionally. Silly, I know.
