    I have a Splawn Supersport 1x12 combo.
Amazing amp with great clean & gain channels BUT it has a shared eq for the channels.

I use the gain channel the most so I eq the amp for that channel. When I switch to the clean channel it's too bassy.

Any simple mod I can do the brighten the clean channel? I'm not a tech but I often read about people changing out a resistor or something like that for tonal changes.

The speaker is a Budda Phat speaker which is a lot darker than the original Splawn SmallBlock speaker.

The easiest mod is an EQ pedal in the loop.

    Thanks guys.
    I had considered that.

That's what I'll do for now.

Yes, but that would mean, when you switch to the clean channel, you also have to engage the loop EQ.

Not the ideal solution in my mind.

Yeah, I don't see me doing that.

The shared EQ balance isn't real bad and I can live with it. At last weekends gig it wasn't that noticeable.

I used Gear 1 on the overdrive channel and did notice that the clean/overdrive EQ balances better if I use Gear 2.

See if you can trade somebody for a Streetrod.

I wouldn't mind getting a Streetrod some day but the Supersport is the perfect size amp for me right now.
