So I have a set of single coils that I really love (Joel Dyer Greasy Hots), but I've yet to find a strat style guitar that I love to go with them. A Nashville style tele would probably work, but I already have a couple T type guitars.

what else is out there that takes three single coils? There was one incarnation of a Paul Gilbert Fireman, but that's all that comes to me off the top of my head. I'm not picky as far as bridge type. I'm comfortable with vibratos and hardtails

    thanks!

You could get an Ibanez RG and replace the pickguard.

Lots of cool features - I love the silent circuit and how EBMM finishes the neck.

If you want to go cool and low budget, some of the Squier Jazzmasters had swimming pool routes. Get a custom pickguard and you're set.

i have a set of strat pickups that I really like the sound of, I’ve tried them in a few different strats, but none of the guitars themselves have really left an impression on me. Plus the strat shape is kind of boring to me, so I’m wondering what else is out there that comes with 3 single coils that I could swap my beloved set in to

There was at least one Ibanez Talman that was SSS if I remember correctly.

I love the Music Man Albert Lee because it looks like him. I think a Nashville Tele would be kickass. The out of phase tones with all of that metal and brass would be vicious.
