Stacking OD with my sick as

I've just bought a Bondi Sick As (kind of klon, timmy) overdrive and I'm planning to buy another overdrive to stack with it.

I want to use the sick as as my main light/transparent overdriven sound and I need something to cut trough the mix for lead parts. (I play alternative country / folk rock)

Any sugestions?

Considering: Ac booster, Zendrive, Paisley Drive, Wampler Clarcksdale,

I need some presence, certainly more mids, but I want to avoid the classical nasal tubescreamer thing.

There are too much pedals in the market so I feel lost and need a little help from my TGP friends. :)

My first thought was the Bearfoot Honey Bee or Uber Bee- but it's not so much about adding clarity as much as warmth, thickness, grit, sag, and size. But I a messing you are running your Sick As a bit darker than I would...

Very different from a tube screamer- definitely my desert island OD. If you want something equally awesome but a bit tighter I love the Model G by Bearfoot for that. The Bondi Sick As is he first overdrive that I've liked as much as the Bearfoot stuff in a long time.

I use my Klon KTR to goose my Sick As, but most klones will do the trick as well. Works great!

I use an EP booster set around 1 o'clock to boost my Sick As for leads - works great. A boost with EQ options might work well too, say an RC booster or a TC Spark.

I think I'll try with a RC booster. I never had great experiences with one knob boosters cause I like to cut some treble as I'm a telecaster player.

Good choice IMO. Once you get the RC could you post an update to let us know how you get on with it? The EP booster works well for me (I play a Tele too) but I am tempted by the extra EQ options that the RC offers and would like to know how well it stacks with the sick as.

I used the SickAs into the Jan Ray quite a bit recently- great combo. If I need a volume boost as well, i hit the Rockett Max Boost which is at the end of my chain. This combo is great! The SickAs into the Veneuram Rage-e is great too, it's more of a distortion but still retains warmth like a nice OD.

I liked the RC booster alot and it stacked well with other drives however the KTR/Klones stacked a little better and had more of a mid presence to help cut through the mix. The RC had only a bass and treble knob and they worked great but I found it to be a very transparent pedal. Either way you cant go wrong.

So is anyone using a Honey Bee and Sick As? I've got an 808HW with a Sick As right now, but really curious about replacing the HW with a HB. Different beats I know...

I have my Sick As after my Barber Gain Changer. They stack very well together. However, I noticed that when I reverse it and but Sick As first, that too is an awesome combo. Can't go wrong with those two pedals
