Do you guys ever buy specialty stage clothing? If so, where are some good places to look? I'm going to Vegas next week- any good places there?

    For most TGPer's:
Bowling Shirt Boutique and Cargo Shorts Shack.

    (Someone had to say it)

I wear jeans 99% of the time, so Old Navy mostly. As for shirts, thrift shops, Old Navy occasionally, and online vintage clothing emporiums. Wal-mart for black t shirts.

I guess I should qualify this a bit. I'm talking about rocker stuff. Not looking for razorblades and spikes but jeans for example that you would likely not wear out regularly and look just different enough that you can tell it is for the stage not for your uncle's backyard bbq.

We made a decision to explicitly NOT wear something you'd see on the street. It's entertainment. And that includes looking like you want attention.

Having said that, I've found some interesting stuff at a Sachs 5th Ave outlet store. At prices far below what they normally go for.

There was also a store near me that sold rock and roll type clothing. Alot of it was too "metal" or "biker" for me, but there was some good stuff in there as well.

Have even found something cool at a thrift store.

We wear suits onstage. Men's Warehouse, or something similar, works fine for me.

This potbellied old man would look pretty silly in that stage wear. Jeans and a shirt for me.

You only really need one interesting thing going on, IME. Plain T-shirt and combat boots, but jeans with some design? That can work. Just a distinctive jacket of some sort (stage temperature allowing), over pretty mundane shirt and pants? Sure. Hats and/or hairstyles can buy you a little stage look, too.
