Is in the window of $1800 about what one would expect to pay?

Are there any other PRS models that have a pull-up trem, with a rotary switch OR strat switch? (no LP toggle) and that clock in around the same price or lower? Oh, also preferably not much bling or bird inlays.

Considering my first PRS and want something along these lines, but not sure what I should expect to pay or which models to look at.

Thanks! While it is technically priced higher I'm guessing the seller will be flexible given the cosmetic issues!

Hmm...Might go in for the kill! Are there any other models I should be considering in the price range? I never really considered a PRS until I saw the mahogany one and thought that it has a lot of qualities I like and seems like something I could get down with.

You should be able to find a Standard for much closer to $1000, if not under $1000. I paid $900 for one a few years ago and then sold it for $950 a year later. For $1800 you should be getting a Custom with Birds!

Hmm that's good to know! I haven't seen any in that price range yet. I really don't want one with birds, though. I like the simplicity of dots.

100% true. Standards with moons are usually around $1000.00. $1850.00 is way too much.

Can you guys point me to some of the standards you're talking about? The cheapest one I've seen with the things I'm looking for is $1250 and it was pretty beat up...

I'd expect to pay closer to $1200 for a clean Standard.

    Here's one:

Here's one for a little more:

Personally, I like the 22's. If you can live without those non-money making two notes...

There were 2 red Standard 22s at a the guitar show in Columbus, OH a couple of weekends ago. Both were priced in the $1200 range. I have a green one - fantastic instrument.
