Guitar maker Rick Canton stopped by and mentioned a conversation he had with Steve Klein that Steve is coming back to building the Klein electric guitar.

The Return of Steve Klein and the Klein Electric Guitar?

Thought the the Klein aficionados might like to know. :)

    Regards,

    Robert

That's great news, if it pans out.

Hope he'll consider making the basses again, too.

I foolishly left one on "blowout" at a Sam Ash in Hempstead about twenty years ago (less than 500.) I raced home to get cash, when I got back no more Klein (one of the salesmen nabbed it) Been pining away ever since.

Man, I've been gunning for one of these for a while. Hope it comes to fruition. Would love one with fanned frets.

    Here and there....
I played a Klein at a NAMM Show many years ago and could hardly put it down.

Unorthordox in design....but it felt great and sounded even better.

    I want one.

I heard much the same thing from Gary Brawer; Steve is gonna build electrics again. My BF was made by Lorenzo and it is beautiful. I heard somewhere that Lorenzo took ill.????? IMO all the law suite shite has gotten in the way of the production of a beautiful guitar. I love my Klein. I would love another. A bass perhaps?

Any recollection of what year that might have been, Tim? I worked in the booth with Lorenzo for several shows in the late '90s.

I still have two of 'em.

Lets hope they don't bring back the Taylor/Klein bass. That one is a mofo to build!

I'm interested. Would people be so kind to update this thread as they become aware of material updates?
