Well, I have finally received my new (to me) Mystic White LJ lll and I am in love all over again.

This particular LJ was offered to me some years ago but I was not in a financial position to buy it. It came up again about a year ago and again, I was still not able to purchase and so I gave TGP's Mark Kane a heads-up and he jumped on it.

I asked Mark that, if he was ever to sell it, he would give me first refusal.

Well, Mark did want to move it on reluctantly and this time I could not refuse.
I guess that all good things come to those who wait.

Here it is and it is a sweet, sweet guitar.

    Pics for your enjoyment

Nice one - love my LJ.

Does this mean Mark is down to one LJ now?

Thanks guys. It is awesome. Tom Holmes pickups feature here with coil taps.

It sports a master volume with two tones, each with a coil tap and very useable combinations of sounds.

Really cool fiddle. I'm glad this worked out the way it did. Alex has now cornered 75% of the Japanese Custom shop LJ's ever produced!!:omg
Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

I sold two LJ's last summer. This was one of them. It all worked out really great. I have just the one now, but it's my favorite, the cherry Rich Robinson LJ.

Sounds like an opportunity for a Japanese LJ group shot!

These early Stevens LJs did not have the tummy and leg cuts that were available on subsequent Fender Custom Shop LJs and those direct from Michael Stevens.

They are still extremely cool, even without the cuts: BTW, the color is pearl and is called "Mystic White"

Beautiful guitar. I didn't know there was a version made in Japan until I opened this thread. Thank you for sharing.
