Stickers on Guitars??

SRV Custom decal on his Strat and Dimebag Kiss sticker look pretty good.

you can buy "sticker bomb" kits online for like $20-30 these days.

i've been sorely tempted to snag a fun el-cheapo and do that to the finish.

once made a telecaster pickguard out of liquor and beer labels. Held in place with packing tape.

i used to put them on my guitar cases, until i tried to sell one back to a store and they dinged me for it (back in my youth).
Now I have a drawer full of assorted gear stickers, band stickers and pins, and junk like that

I put one , the jolly roger on the upper horn ,on my bass in the 80's then krazy glued a Cadillac emblem on there too . Wish I didn't do that the Cadillac

Stickers are a pain to take off a guitar, sometimes they even leave fade 'tan lines', so reselling a guitar is problematic.

Confine your stickers to a pickguard and those are easy to swap in/out.

I've got stamps on guitars, on the back of the headstock. The guitars I have stickers on are guitars I'm not going to sell, and they're all on the back somewhere.

I don’t, but I think it can be a cool look.
I’m not big on any permanent additions to myself or stuff I own, no bumper stickers, tattoos, stickers on guitars. I’m too changeable. As mentioned, I often think that they add something good...
