^I bet some of them named their guitars or refer to it as "She". The Horror! lol

Man, some of you people are so uptight and get so reactionary. Just have fun
    and enjoy your guitar. Peace!

Now I'm off to play my #1. Which also happens to be her name.
Just don't ask me what she weighs. ;)

    Okay, I'll stop.

Do you love the guitar or do you love the music?

I guess that's it for me...I love the guitar, but the music gives me goosebumps.

I play and paint with my own brush - stickers / decals / wear / tear.

I think it looks like crap myself but to each their own. As long as it sounds great.

    Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

Can kinda see there was a bob marley on the back:

My favorite..this is a tattoo flash Ron drew and then had turned into a thin foil decal and then it's now buried in the finish.

If I happen to get a small rip on a tolex rectangular case from bumping into it and the covering is starting to get bigger if you don't fix it with glue, I'll put a sticker in there. Works as a gaffer tape. Professionals used to place stickers on cases to show where they have been gigging geographically. On any guitar? No, Nay, never. No, nay never no more... ;)

But on the other hand it was a long time I owned any rectangular tolex hardshell case anyway. They're just for storing, which makes stickers kind of ... moot, futile.

No stickers on my guitars. I do have a vinyl devil on my detuned Black Sabbath guitar. (Cheap black SG). That is not a sticker and it comes right off. No one sees that one anyway.

    No stickers. No tattoos either.

No stickers on my guitars, I did find a "danger ASBESTOS hazard" sticker I put on one of my cases though.

Going a little more permanent on this one..[IMG]

I don't have any stickers on any of mine. Never really thought about it. Don't care one bit either way.

Why am I surprised that there are more than a couple here that actually judge someone based on such a ridiculous concept?

To say that putting stickers on things says a lot about who a person is, says more about the one saying it by a long shot IMO.

I most definitely live in a different world than lots do.....

made the mistake of parting this one out a few years ago, it was the "twin" to another one of these that i have. got both of them around twenty years ago, and put this "#2" sticker on shortly after. it had some raised frets, at the time i didn't know any better than to just rip them straight off and see what a fretless guitar might be like.

i should have held on to it, just needed to replace one pot that went bad. kept the guard, etc to have spare parts for my "#1".
