I love the specs on these. I have been through a bunch of Strats and, on paper at least, this seems to be what have been looking for.

Would love some comments, especially from those who have compared this model to stuff from the Fender Custom Shop, Grosh, Suhr, etc. How is the build quality (neck pocket, electronics, fret work, weight, etc)?

If I had the $$$$, I would buy one in a snap. For me, the specs are perfect. Big neck, taller frets, lightweight alder, thin finish. Pickups sounded good enough for me. I played a RW neck, not sure about the maple neck size, but I think your looking for a RW neck?

The only thing that bugged me was the satin finish on the neck, I didn't like the feel of it, too rough??

I'm thinking that my next strat will either be a HR '62 or a Classic Player 60s model. I have an EJ that is everything I want in a maple neck, but I am gasing for a rosewood, and trying to decide the comparable HR '62 will do me, or if the cheaper, but high qulality Classic Player will suffice. Interested in seeing what other posters think about the HR62.

It's about perfect for me in terms of features and specs. The neck is a relatively large C shape. The quality is outstanding - great fret work, fit and finish. The pickups have a nice vintage sound and unlike most 62/57's have a RWMP. The pickguard has a full aluminum shield, which was a nice surprise. I also love mint green!

I played one and the MIM Classic 60's. HR 62 leaps and bounds above Classic 60's IMO.
