I am VERY sad to have to post this. A few days ago, some crooks broke into Brian's warehouse and cleaned him out. I have worked with Brian for over a decade as his sometimes tech and "tone consultant", he is like a big brother to me, and he is one of the nicest guys in the biz I have ever met. After he nearly lost everything in Katrina, I helped him rebuild his rig over a few years.....now it's all gone again.......

This warehouse was located in Slidell LA, about 40 mins from New Orleans. Much of this gear is boutique and pretty rare. And some of it (like the Trombetta Mini Bone I helped him get, thanks Paul!) has his name engraved in the top.

Full gear list - all of these items are GONE......

PLEASE HELP SPREAD THE WORD - The storage facility where I keep my musical equipment was burglarized. The thieves got away with a rather large amount of gear - 12 guitars, every gigable amp I own, a pedalboard with some unique, customized pieces and lots more. The list of stolen items follows as well as pics of the more important items. Please pass this around and any if you come across any info pertaining to the case please contact the Slidell Police Dept.

I'm so sorry to read your loss, few tears just dropped. People have stolen from me before, I know the feeling.
The Lord works in many ways, hopefully the police will do a good job.
    All the best,

Wow. Just wow. That really sucks. I will definitely say a prayer for Brian to get that gear back. Such a bummer.

Bad enough when this happens to a rock star, but pro musicians like Brian work way too hard, for not enough already! Hopefully Karma will return these treasures to him, or at least some of his former employers will help him out!

it's very true. Brian is one of the nicest and most laidback musicians I have ever known in my 40 years in the biz. and after nearly losing everything in Katrina, we spent years putting his rig back together. and now, even all of that is gone.....luckily, he had his main "player" guitars he tours with in a safe place. but he literally lost 90% of his gear with this theft.

Just have an admiration for the sideguys, who rarely get the credit due to them!

Maybe he will contemplate the meaning of it all.Having gear and losing it.Attachment and non attachment.
He will get used to it being gone and i bet it won't diminish his joy of playing and sharing.
This sense of loss is the thing that will diminish over time. The memories remain. In the end those material things won't matter. We'll all be gone someday. Will the quality of his remaining life be any less because of this theft? I doubt it.

Not to make too much light of this as I can tell from experience that it sucks.

A 410 VT 40!?! Them there are some strong thieves.

Great list by the way. Most people just guess at what gear they have. Lists help catch crooks.

That's what I'm curious about here. Almost if not all storage facilities have camera. That much gear left in a storage facility? Seriously....I hate to say it that was a BAD move. Makes me think 1.Someone the owner knows. 2.Inside job at the storage facility. 3. Insurance scam (storage facilities make most sign waivers). The last I think is unlikely but I've heard it happen before. Hope he gets his stuff back in the end and a lesson learned.
