    If you had that much gear in the one storage facility you would have to have it insured wouldn't you.

    That's what I thought about this one, just sounds fishy to me in a way.

    Because it does sound odd, fishy, whatever you want to call it. Almost all the storage places I've dealt with FORCE you to have insurance on items of value. No camera footage? Now that'd be odd. Inside job? Possibly..Insurance fraud? Possibly...People have done it before.

    Did not see anything in the OP about insurance, but when you get ripped off, you don't sit back and smile that insurance is going to get all your gear replaced. These are guitars and amps, not power tools. One of the same model may not be like another, and then there is sentimental value. Building up after losing your gear to Katrina and now some creeps come and take it away would be pretty depressing.

    So even if he get more $$$ than all that stuff is worth, it still sux.
