Can’t trust a fart nor a belch. My wife has had it since Tuesday night. Didn’t hit me until Friday morning on the way to work. What I thought was a belch turned out to be a mouthful of puke in my truck. I pulled over, dealt with it. I texted work and got home ASAP and it’s been tons of fun ever since.

If you are in the N Austin area beware. :(

    Thank you.

I haven’t got it as bad as my wife did when it first hit her. She was up to Exorcist levels of output. I didn’t sleep for about 26 hours while was I taking care of her. I think lack of sleep softened up my immune system maybe. I unusually don’t get sick.

I had a go-round with Norovirus when traveling a month ago. Several in our group were hit. We believe it was food borne as we all attended the same banquet and were all sick the next day. My wife was similarly afflicted last week, and was down for four days. When your digestive tract decides to reject everything with extreme prejudice it's no fun. The silver lining is that we both last a few pounds. Too bad it was mostly from dehydration.

Chamomile tea works well too, as does GatorAide. Unfortunately for me it was much like pouring it through a pipe. :(

Thanks. After watching my wife suffer I tried to get ahead of with meds. I don't think it hit me as hard unless it's waiting to really kick in.

Yeah it really was. I've never seen her that sick in our entire marriage. It was like when you are a little and get your first stomach flu. It came flying out of both ends. So much output! And THEN....her cycle kicked in. :worried Poor thing.

    Mojo sent.

Last weekend, we were victims of neglected draft beer lines. Never before in my life have I had a 2 day hangover.

With a draft system, you have to maintain them...get them cleaned. Most mold isn't toxic, but the pink slime stuff is very toxic. I'll spare the details, but the symptoms are very similar to yours OP.

Something has been working on me since late this morning. Gut is churning. I’m alone with our 2 year old until my wife gets home tonight. It’s been a rough day. I wanted to get him out of the house, do something fun, but I can’t go too far from a bathroom.

Good luck on a speedy recovery! A month ago, I had influenza. I missed a week of work and still had symptoms for another three weeks. Just as I got better, I came down with the stomach flu- missed another week of work! I sprayed out a stream of puke getting out of bed and heading toward the bathroom- some hit my closet and took out 60 bucks of dry cleaning I picked up the day before! Dang! I don’t think I’ve had this much flu for thirty years.

Yeah I had the Norovirus back in November of 2018 the weekend before Thanksgiving. My mom caught from me a couple days later that was no fun at all.

    Get well soon!

I had the darn stomach bug in February, it sucked.

Then I had a bad case of bronchitis for 2 weeks the end of March.

What a year so far. You don't bounce back quickly in your 60's like before......
