I watch a show about people who bid on storage lockers. at the beginning of the show, there is a fleeting glimpse of a lot of guitar cases one of the storage lockers. its a two tiered guitar rack, anyone seen the show where whatever was in those cases is revealed?

That show is a setup. They all know what's in the lockers before they shoot. That's reality for you.

BTW I'm sure Brad Whitford lines were scripted...I'm sure he knows a lot about gear...but not that much!

My cousin is in the showbiz industry and I've asked him about that. He says he was told by a producer of Storage Wars that the particular shot in question was staged for the show's intro.

It's a classic case of "I heard from someone who heard from someone who told them," so take it for what it's worth. I certainly did, but it wouldn't surprise me at all.

Sure, there are probably tons of scripted and fake things about that show, as it's just that- a show. Reality can get boring... Hence the whole reason for T.V...

I'll tell you what, though - funky attitude or not, Brandi is HOT. I'd so do that...

I noticed that as well, and I have not seen any episodes where any guitars of note have come out of a locker. I am dying to know what was in all those cases.

    YUUUUUUUP!

In one episode that guy Darell (Mr Wow Factor) found a crate of albums.
He told his son they were very valuable. All of the albums I saw were
available at a local used record record store for $1, including the Woodstock
    soundtrack.

I'm sorta gettin' tired of this show, along with the other reality shows.

I love how they declare something worth "a hundred bucks" or whatever, and then they just add it to the total for the haul...as if there would be no problem finding a buyer at that price. like a box of records all worth 2 bucks and they are like "that's 2 hundred dollars right there!" how long is it going to take them to sell all the records?

I like Barry tje best of all but I think it has to be a setup, if there was that much good stuff in storage lockers, the bidding would be more intense with a huge number of bidders. the whole thing is BS

I've watched that show a bit and one thing I noticed as unusual. Whether there's a safe in the room they get excited that they bid on 'em like it loaded with money and valuables.

I'm thinking who's gonna load the safe, store it and abandon 'em? So far I've seen 'em bust the safes open and nothing found in 'em. They have to be smarter than that.
