A quick clip with the www.custombycougar.com Thunderbird amp. Volume on 1 o'clock and TC maxed out (as bright as it get's) and no Cut either. BTW my amp is slightly fatter than a standard T-bird, if you happend to think this is not bright enough ;). The guitar is Chapin Hawk using bridge (tele, SD Jerry Donahue) pickup.
Just wanted to get away from the fat RF style sound i usally fall into. using SM57 and TSM tube condesor together . Speaker is g12-65, both microphones close to speaker and only echo added in mix.

Please comment!! Both on tone and playing...

I dig the way you milk those bends! Very nice stuff. As we say down south, that tone has "stank" on it...referring to the attack/toothiness. I've always dug your clips of that amp. It's cool to hear it at this extreme knob position.

Hey thanks !! It is really a responsive amp, i can go from rather fat to this "stank" just by changing pickingstyle.

    Thank for listning and commenting:)

    Great playing!
I liked the tone but it was still a bit fat for my liking. Would have prefered even more bite.
    Maybe just me!

Thanks, well my personal amp is tweaked to be fatter than standard. So if you talk to Cougar you can get as much bite as you want :AOK

It was overly bright and the playing was sloppy...NOT! You killed it man! Great phrasing, hit the harmonics just where they should be. Good show! So Anders?...my son's named Anders. Family spends a good part of each summer just outside Katrineholm. Swedish women...I came, I saw, I married. AC
