What Fender amp is Dean playing in this video? Seems to have killer tone... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OSlj_J6CCQ and a Second what Marshall is closest to his Demeter TGP-3 Preamp and VHT classic power amp?

I'm guessing a Fender tonemaster, couldn't actually get a good look at it. Kind of looks more like an old tremolux or bassman or something, but based on the gain structure, I'm taking an educated guess at tonemaster.

I was thinking tonemaster too... wasn't sure though. I wonder why he was using that instead of his normal rig. It sounded badass though!

Piggyback Bassman or tremolux. Definitely not a Tone Master. Not enough knobs, and the grille cloth would be dark brown. This was right after their 2d album hit, so a vintage Fender would certainly make sense

It seems like the wrong knobs to be a bassman... now i'm determined to find out what amp this is.

    I couldn't get a good look either, but I agree. I think it's a Bassman.

Oh, and a Wine Red LP and a cranked blonde Fender amp? 2 of my all-time favorites.

It looks like the knobs on a vibrolux or vibroking. The white knobs w/out numbers on them.

Here's a Tone Master. Notice 4 knobs on channel 1. Only 3 on Deans. Chances are they flew in for the show, and rented the back line

Anywhere is everywhere and nowhere is nothing.
Curious what makes you think that? Typically, acts are touring and work these late night shows into the schedules, so they use their own equipment.

It's probably not being used. If you pause the front of the video, you can see that nothing is plugged into the input jack. He's likely using his Demeter/ VHT rig but just wanted to have an amp sitting along the backline instead of a rack. That's probably Robert's blonde Bassman. Robert recorded a lot of his bass tracks through a blonde Bassman and a JTM45 Marshall.
