Strap button hole repair

    that's just it, that's what we don't know. it could have followed the trend where it seemed like "snug" was often stronger than "tight" or it could have flipped the trend lines upside down entirely.

    half of my guitars have had straplocks pop out (I added strap locks to all my guitars)

    toothpicks dipped in wood glue
    stuck in hole and broke off to fit below flush
    and they NEVER pop out again

    Listen to the guitar gnome. He knows his ****.

    And if you ever do decide to drill and plug with a dowel, use a hardwood. And a crosscut dowel.
