strap locks

    where can i get the part that connects to the strap? i already have straplock buttons on the guitar, but not the things that connect to your strap.

    all i see is entire sets, i just want a specific part.

    I don't think you can. They come as sets. Maybe contact Dunlop or Schaller and see if they will sell you what you want. There are always the plastic ones that will work with any button, but I find those to be a pain.

    Sold in sets only...do a WTB in the misc area of the emporium.

    I've seen the Dunlop strap buttons separate (AllParts) but not the strap locking mechanism. You can also pick up the Schaller buttons separately as well.

    I've tried this route with Schaller. An e-mail reply from them said "you can get the parts from one of our dealers." Ever dealer I contacted said "try Schaller directly."

    StewMac used to carry the strap part, but they stopped.

    Try a "mom and pop" type shop.

    My favorite store always had parts galore.
