I use the bridge, middle, & neck about equally. I don't care for the quacker positions but will use them if the song requires it to sound right. I've actually modified most of my Strats to replace neck+middle with neck+bridge, which I find more useful. I play mostly on the clean side of the spectrum.

When I'm playing the Strat to get strat sounds it's the neck pickup for me, playing Semi-clean and fat.
I do have a HB in the Bridge of my strat that I use a lot - but I use that rather than switching guitars for HB tones.

dont know if i could choose just one... I like neck and middle... also use just bridge too. I play alternative country/roots/blues and sort of shoegaze (not on stage lol)

For clean tones I like the neck pup.
For lead or distortion tones I end up on the bridge pup.

With the tone control modded to control the bridge you can take off the ice pick and have good smooth tones.

As for the in between quack sounds, I like the 4th position in clean.

Usually the bridge (using the tone knob), then the bridge/middle, then the neck.

I use 'em all. I alternate between clean and dirty and I usually play through a Fender-style amp

I go between the bridge/middle and neck usually. I play with a little grit, neither clean nor terribly distorted.

Ditto when I have a strat.

I've actually considered building one without a neck pickup.

Bridge for dirty sounds (%80 of my playing time). Neck+middle for cleans. Everything else is middle.
I like the bridge+middle sound but it's way too overused, so I tend to avoid it.
