Hey - first post of music here. Recently had a set of Sheptone AB pups installed in my Strat. Here's what they sound like through an AXE-FX Ultra (lead and rhythms, excerpt):

Let me know what you think, thanks. I figure if there is interest I can let you know what I did here.

What is the difference between the AB and the Standard?

    :)

Thanks. The ABs were custom wound for Andy Brauer so they seem slightly hotter yet still retain the quack along with some added punch and sustain.

Wow - thanks Carl and all! You guys really humble me.

Sure. I'm using the quack setting between bridge and middle pickup. Tone is slightly rolled off on the middle pup. Volume at 9-1/2 to 10 on leads. Running that through Fractal Audio Axe FX Ultra - Cliffs of Dover setting (017 patch). I'm running the Axe-FX stereo direct out to Motu 2408 Mk II - locked that to Apogee Big Ben Master Clock - and into Logic. I'm also a Waves aficionado so I've got quite of few sweetening toys from them to use. The rhythm guitar tracks were sent to a single bus with Focusrite Liquid Mix on it - SSL 6000 master bus compressor setting with some of the highs rolled off using Liquid Mix Manley Massive Passive setting. Leads were maximized using Waves L3. Drums and Bass are virtual instruments (for now).
