Anyone have one? Can you post a pic as I am just trying to get an idea of how it'll look; any finish strat is ok, but I'd be especially interested in a pic with a natural body and maple neck. Or if any of you are adept at photoshop can indulge me... TIA!

Excellent!! I want something a bit different from the ubiquitous white or pearloid (of which I already have in a strat and tele ;) ). Tortoise it is then! Thanks for the pics, guys ...you convinced me!!

BTW, are the knobs/pups that I see on these parchment or mint green? Is "aging" the pure white something that a coffee bath (or kiwi polish) can take care of?

Hmm, sorry Edward - sort of natural in the middle - sunburst round the edges. [IMG]
Shows what black p'up covers & knobs look like with the tortoise guard though...

This guitar was the host of the parts for my partsocaster, but now that I have the neck and body from my partsocaster, it is in pieces in the closet. Maybe I should buy some more parts.....

I've been looking for/thinking about a new/different colored 'guard to go on this one. It wore Mint Green for many years and for the past several years it's had the Tort... I'm just not sure of what color I'd like to put on it; nothing goofy.

    Hey Cyber,

I never really entertained the idea of black covers/knobs, but yours looks great! ...truly "classic"!! I wonder how it'd look on a natural (of which I intend to stain med-dark, like walnut or mahog) with a maple neck. Thanks for that pic ...I welcome suggestions! :D

Here's one you may not have seen before...

Candy tangerine American Deluxe strat with a brown tortise guard. The orange portions of the guard are the same as the guitar finish. It might be a bit hard to fully appreciate in this photo but I think it's a unique combo.

Oooohhhhh man!!! You guys are pulling em out of the woodworks now. Both black and off-white pups/knobs look good to me ...at least that's a cheap experiment. Can't wait until I get started on stripping mine! Thanks, guys!
