Strats with Mini Humbuckers

    Can anyone tell me if strats need to be routed to put mini humbuckers in them, like the Gibson Firebirds and such?

    If the routs are sc size, yes.
    Strat routing patterns can vary, though.
    Take a look at yours.

    It would depend on the rout. If it has the "swimming pool" rout all you would need is the pickguard.

    I think it's H-S-H. It's a Lonestar Strat, 99 or 00, I forget the exact year.

    They should fit in a HB rout I think. Wont fit in a SC strat rout.

    If you don't have the mini-hums yet make sure they have short legs.
